  1. The root crops like carrots, beetroots , parsnips and turnips be planted from seed for best results.
  2. Coriander and parsley can be planted from seed or seedlings, they neeed cooler days.  
  3. Greens like spinach, kale and silverbeet are easy to grow.
  4. Plant Spring onions, and white, brown and red onions now with seedlings or seeds.
  5. Put the bulbs in the soil at a depth of twice their size and water only once until you see the shoots.
