  2. Each whole coriander contains 2 seeds, so first split the seeds by gently pressing the seeds between your palms or using hammer.

  2. After 24 hours, throw away any floating seeds, as they are not viable and will not germinate.
  3. Take a plastic Box and put a kitchen paper inside.
  4. it. Spread the soaked coriander seeds on the paper and cover the them with another paper. Spray some water on the paper and cover the box.
  5. Place the box at a dark and warm location. If temperature is below 12°C, then place it indoors in a warm place like AC room or behind or above your fridge. You can place the box outside if temperature is above 12°C.
  6. Seeds will germinate in 2 to 3 days depending on the temperature.

5. Plant the germinated seeds about 1 cm below the soil in a tall pot to ensure plenty of room for the long taproot to grow properly.

Use a well-draining nutrition rich soil. Mix cow manure or compost and some river sand or perlite in the soil. While cow manure adds nutrition to the soil and sand makes the soil free-draining.

  1. Place the pot in full sun if temperature is between 12 to 25°C (50 to 77°F).
  2. Place in bright shade if temperature is above 30°C (85°F). If your coriander plant becomes too hot it will bolt and produce flowers and seeds.
